By using Pureples, you are agreeing to be bound by these Terms and Conditions of Use, all applicable laws and regulations, and agree that you are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing Pureple mobile application and website. The materials contained in Pureple app and website are protected by applicable copyright and trade mark law.

  2. Permission is granted to temporarily download one copy of the materials (information or software) on Pureple for personal, non-commercial transitory viewing only. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:

Iceclip LLC makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims and negates all other warranties, including without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property or other violation of rights. Further, Pureple does not warrant or make any representations concerning the accuracy, likely results, or reliability of the use of the materials on its Internet web site or otherwise relating to such materials or on any sites linked to this site or Pureple mobile app.

In no event shall pureple.com or Pureple App or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption,) arising out of the use or inability to use the materials on pureple.com's Internet site or mobile app, even if pureple or a pureple authorized representative has been notified orally or in writing of the possibility of such damage. Because some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties, or limitations of liability for consequential or incidental damages, these limitations may not apply to you.

Privacy Policy

Your privacy is very important to us. Accordingly, we have developed this Policy in order for you to understand how we collect, use, communicate and disclose and make use of personal information. The following outlines our privacy policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of personal information:

  • Account Information: Email address, display name, and authentication credentials when you create an account.
    • Wardrobe Data: Photos of clothing items you upload, along with associated metadata such as category, color, brand, size, material, pattern, season, and occasion.
    • Body Photos: If you use the "See on Yourself" feature, you may upload a photo of yourself for virtual try-on purposes.
    • Location Data: Your city and country, used to provide weather-based outfit recommendations.
    • Usage Data: Interaction data, device information (model, operating system version, timezone, locale), and app version.
    • Conversation Data: Messages you send when using the AI Styling chat feature.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your personal information to:

  • Provide and maintain the Pureple wardrobe management service.
    • Analyze your clothing items using AI to automatically identify attributes such as category, color, pattern, and style.
    • Generate personalized outfit recommendations based on your wardrobe, preferences, weather, and occasion.
    • Provide virtual try-on experiences through our "Try on Model" and "See on Yourself" features.
    • Enable AI-powered styling conversations through our AI Chat feature.
    • Send push notifications related to your account and features.
    • Improve our services and develop new features.

3. Third-Party AI Services and Data Sharing

Pureple uses third-party artificial intelligence (AI) services to power certain features. When you use these features, some of your personal data is sent to and processed by these third-party services. We want you to understand exactly what data is shared, with whom, and for what purpose.

a) OpenAI (OpenAI, L.L.C.)

We use OpenAI's API services for the following features:

  • Clothing Item Analysis: When you upload a photo of a clothing item, the image is sent to OpenAI's Vision API to automatically identify attributes such as category, color, pattern, material, brand, season, and occasion. The data sent includes the clothing item image and your language preference.
    • AI Styling Chat: When you use the AI Styling chat feature, the following data is sent to OpenAI: your text messages, conversation history (up to 20 recent messages), a summary of your wardrobe items (including item names, categories, colors, occasions, seasons, patterns, and brands), your city and country (if available), your language preference, and your app version.
    • Outfit Recommendations: When you request outfit suggestions, your wardrobe item descriptions, location, weather data, and language preference are sent to OpenAI to generate personalized recommendations.

OpenAI processes this data solely to provide responses to Pureple and does not use your data to train its AI models. For more information, see OpenAI's API Data Privacy policy.

b) Google Generative AI (Google LLC)

We use Google's Generative AI (Gemini) services for the following features:

  • Try on Model: When you use the "Try on Model" feature, your outfit image, preferred gender, and language preference are sent to Google Gemini to generate an image of the outfit displayed on a virtual model.
    • See on Yourself: When you use the "See on Yourself" feature (premium only), your body photo and the outfit image are sent to Google Gemini to generate a virtual try-on image showing how the outfit would look on you. This feature requires you to be at least 18 years old and to provide explicit consent before use.

Google processes this data solely to generate images for the Pureple app. For more information, see Google's Generative AI Terms of Service.

c) Firebase (Google LLC)

We use Google Firebase for authentication, cloud database (Firestore), file storage, push notifications, analytics, and crash reporting. Your account information, wardrobe data, and uploaded images are stored in Firebase. For more information, see Firebase's Privacy and Security documentation.

4. Your Consent for AI Data Processing

Before your data is sent to any third-party AI service, the app will clearly disclose what data will be sent and to which service, and will ask for your explicit consent. You may decline to use AI-powered features, in which case your data will not be sent to third-party AI services. Core wardrobe management features that do not rely on AI remain fully functional without consent.

5. Data Retention

  • Your wardrobe data and account information are retained as long as your account is active.
    • Data sent to OpenAI and Google Gemini for processing is not stored by Pureple after the AI response is received, except for cached results (such as generated try-on images) stored locally on your device to improve performance.
    • AI Chat conversation history is stored locally on your device and can be cleared at any time by starting a new chat.
    • You may delete your account and all associated data at any time through the app or by contacting us.

6. Data Security

We protect personal information by reasonable security safeguards against loss or theft, as well as unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use, or modification. All data transmitted between the app and our servers, and between our servers and third-party AI services, is encrypted using industry-standard protocols (HTTPS/TLS).

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
    • Request correction of inaccurate personal data.
    • Request deletion of your personal data and account.
    • Withdraw consent for AI data processing at any time (by not using AI-powered features).
    • Request information about what data has been shared with third-party AI services.

8. Children's Privacy

Pureple is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The "See on Yourself" feature requires users to be at least 18 years old.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
